ok I have asked this question before but know one seems to know.. I have this extreme pain down there, when I get up from sitting or when I am sleeping and roll over or even when I am doing nothing at all I think I have read all I can about it so my question is How do I make it stop or give me some relief this pain has brought me to tears because it hurts so bad! please please help!! My Dr said it in normal????

BabyMakerMachine - 904 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The pain is probably from your uterus getting bigger, which is pushing down on everything below it. As the women here have said, a pillow between your legs can help, not standing or sitting for an extended period of time can help, warm baths can help....I've even tried icing my vagina---this is wonderful once you get past the initial cold on your nether regions! LOL! My doctor said that the ice was good because the added blood flow in pregnancy makes the vagina swollen and screws with your nerves, so things aren't very comfortable. I hope this helps! BEST OF LUCK!

I have a body pillow from wal*mart that I sleep with in between my legs and hug it like its a person when I sleep. I'm sorry its painful. I know what your going through.

twinmum2b - 904 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) oh and mommyofaboy is right about the pillow in between the legs this helps.

twinmum2b - 904 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think what you are referring to is your pelvic/pubic bone pain...(look up SPD) the pain is caused from the bones separating...I get it real bad, I am 35 weeks pregnant with twins and it hurts all the tine but especially when i get up and walk or at night (is the worst) if you lift your leg or get up from bed...If this is it, there's not much you can do about it but there are a few small things. Try and keep your legs together don't let them separate from each other too far, (especially when getting up out of bed) and when you dress yourself make sure you sit down to put pants or underwear on...I don't know if this helps you at all cos you probably already do these things to avoid pain...Another thing is that I had to stop walking and doing most exercise around 7 months because it became too painful at night if I over did it during the day. Maybe don't stop exercise but just limit the amount of walking...swimming is great! goodluck!! you can find heaps of info on it on the net but I don't think there is too much you can do than just to simply do things that avoid the pain. :) It's called Symphysis Pubis Dysfunsction. hope this helps

megandgrace - 904 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Try sleeping with a pillow between your legs. If its the same pain i used to get even before i got pregnant and still happens every now and then after i had her, then sleeping with a pillow between your legs may help. When i do get it it is only laying down or sleeping.

mommy-ofa-boy - 904 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i have been having pain too but mine is shooting pain from vag and lower back or butt some where in there... well i was told it is my siatic nerve that the baby leans on check it out it may be he same thing i was told its most common when the baby is "sunny side up" face facing your vagina and head cramping your nerves
