i really need some advice, its been my daily habit to drink coffee evry morning when i woke up and i put a lot of creamer on it(but only drink once a day)..Im now in my 20 weeks,i am worried that it might affect my baby`s health inside coz i know it has lots of caffeine..i need some advice to stop this and what to do,and i want to know if how many of you still drinks coffee?

blondiex2 - 903 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) For the women who don't have a problem not drinking coffee I would suggest decaf, but seeing that you mentioned you love your morning cup of coffee I just wanted to reassure you that its completely safe and not harmful to your baby. As long as you aren't drinking more than 2 cups a day its totally ok. I just had my Starbucks coffee this morning =) . I would suggest, however, that even though doctors tell you its ok to have two cups, that if you can handle only having your morning cup to just have that, and not to drink the maximum allowed if you don't need it. Its not harmful to have two cups, but one iis even less caffeine going to your baby. So enjoy your morning cup and don't worry about it being harmful, the stress is worse than 1 cup of coffee! =)

nerock82 - 903 days ago thanks a million ladies... :0

MiniOface - 903 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I agree, switch to a high quality decaf and you wont know the diff. My OB suggested it and it made me feel a lot better.

juels101 - 903 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) THey are exra sensative to it, so as long as you keep it in normal amounts it is just fine. A one cup in the morning is more than okay. If it makes you nervous buy a good quality decaf and give it a try <3

3flowers - 903 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I drank coffee with all three of my pregnancies, don't worry too much about it.

kenty - 903 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) a cup of coffee every day is fine hun, i drink alot of tea which is full of coffee

nutnut - 903 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) decaff! or do half decaf half reg it will cut the caffeine in half. but really one cup a day isnt that bad. i drink diet pepsi last week i was craving it this week im not lol. but i will drink 1-2 diet pepsi every day or so. one day i might have 2 but then i wont have any for 3 days. and yeah chocolate has caffeine in it too but lucky i dont crave it or even want it. i just do the diet pepsi sometimes. so you should be fine, but like i said just mix half decaf and half reg. you will still get your coffee, with half the caffeine you wont even notice the difference.

m2b - 903 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Enjoy your cup of coffee! you are allowed to have caffeine, just in moderation. so go have a cup! ;)

nerock82 - 903 days ago thank you so much ladies, its really a relief for me..

last.one.for.me - 903 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You're caffeine intake can be up to 300mg - just to get it into perspective so you can see just how much that is a normal cup of instant coffee has 60mg in it, a cup of regular tea has 50mg, a chocolate bar has 20mg, an can of energy drink has 80mg in it.. If you do some research on google, you'll be able to find a list of caffeine contents of everyday foodstuffs and drinks.. Stick to 300mg per day and you'll be fine - that was the guidance I recieved when I was pregnant last year at my booking in appointment in August

mckrush - 904 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you can drink two cups of coffee a day or 3-4 cups of tea is what i was told.....
