okay so i am on the contraceptive pill, however since i moved house a month ago ive missed about 4 pills.. but took them straight away when i woke up the next morning. however since my last period ive been experiencing pregnancy symptons, such as: sore breasts, morning sickness, headaches, swollen gums, the need to eat more, my belly looking a bit more podgy than usual. what do u think the chances are that i could be pregnant

blondiex2 - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hmm, like mama2be said there is ALWAYS a chance. However, it sounds like your chances of being pregnant may be even higher. My doctor told me that in MOST cases, if you miss just one pill and immediately take it in the morning that you will not become pregnant. However, you missing four really throws it off because even though you took them in the morning the 99.9% effective rate applies ONLY if they are taken exactly as directed. I can't give an answer of what your chances are, but I can say that there IS a chance since you didn't take them exactly as directed. However, the only way you'll know for sure is if you get a pregnancy test. I don't know if its too early for you to test yet but as soon as you can you should go buy one. mama2be12.31.09 - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes always a chance, i took my pills like clockwork every night , apparently vitamin c and tylenol make it less effective so needless to say im 6 months pregnant with a baby boy, test away but if its early go to the doc for bloodwork hcg level will tell all. i had symptoms like that at 3 weeks in so u may be early even if you feel miserable, good luck, let me know what happens
