ladobruk - 899 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I always thought it was for drafts. If you live in an area where you have tornados or hurricanes, maybe it isn't a good idea but otherwise it would be a pretty freak thing for a window to blow out from a normal storm.

nutnut - 899 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i didnt bc of the mini blind strings. they can hang themselves with those. also the draftiness. but as long as there are no strings from the blind or dangers like that, and if your window is child saftey proofed, and not drafty i dont see the problem. just use common sense i guess.

jastinel - 899 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my son was in a toddler bed at age 1,he could not even reach the window even if he could on his bed, just use common sense, unless the bed is right next to a window that is on the floor i dont think he will jump out the window, use window locks if you have to or lock the window i never had to do anything like lock a window or use window locks he never wanted to jump on his bed at that age or jump out the window

jastinel - 899 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i dont think its too bad,our son has slept by a window for almost 1 year,he is 2 now,we wanted our room to be like his room,so we did elmo on one of the windows and his bed is right next to the window,i have never had a problem but everyone is different,i always has my worries over little things but that is just a mothers concern over her baby ,i think he will be fine dont worry,

tquinn - 899 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I guess I'm just paranoid but I would never put a childs bed by a window. My daughter once got a window open and pushed the screen out herself. We live on third floor. Also if there is a fire a clear window is an easier exit.
