ok to sum this up I`m pregnant again and have a four month old. It wasn`t planned but it happened. I`m taking my prenatals and an iron pill that the dr gave me for my pregnancy last time round. The only reason I`m taking the iron is because of the close time between pregnancies and I`ve become anemic. Anyways, has anyone experienced ALOT of hair loss in the first trimester and just because I`m curious what did you end up having, boy or girl? Thank you for reading!

LGK616 - 896 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You gave birth 4 months ago so this is why you are losing your hair. Even though you are pregnant again, it will take time to settle. Your hormones are really out of wack because instead of settling since you've given birth, they are going crazy again with another pregnancy. It will stop but when you give birth to your second, it will happen again. Think about it - we lose an average 100 hairs a day with no pregnancy related issues - after birth, we lose up to 500 a day!! xox

layna09 - 897 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my little girl is four months also, and i had major hair loss during my first trimester. and now after birth its a major problem. huge clumps of it come out in the shower. i've read its because of estrogen levels going up and down. it should eventually go away. but still check with your dr.

BunnyMama - 897 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was losing a lot of hair from my head in my first trimester. it was horrible...both me and my hair dresser were scared about it. but now (17 weeks)i hardly have any hair loss and i found out i'm having a little boy :D

tenacioust - 898 days ago Also to add the reason I ask what you are having is because I had a girl the first time round and never loss a stand instead it became forrest thick!lol

I was told that this can be normal for some people. I am now 21 weeks and the hair loss is not really bad anymore but it still slightly there. I am having a girl!
