Very sensitive nipples

Just the past couple of days my nipples have been super sore. I have constantly applied Lansinoh(sp?) cream and it just isn`t working much. Could they just be sensitive due to his tooth coming in and maybe brushing up against them at times? Also any suggestions for comfort is much appreciated!

Debra - 897 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) try changing positions with him. Also if it hurts you to have him suck, take him off and relatch him. It could be teeth, maybe even hormones?

angelhoney08 - 897 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am thinking on breast feeding and formula feeding I was at baby depo and looking threw the things you can get they have a protective nipple that goes over your nipple like a bottle nipple kinda it protects you during brast feeding so the the baby dont hurt you :) Mybe you should try one of them I seen um at baby depo with breastfeeding stuff and pumps it is probably because of his teeth coming in they wonna chew and chomp as much as possible to sooth their gums so thats probably why hope I help you out sum:) get chewy toys and make shure their thick because sume have water in them so if they aint thick it will break apart my lil girl chewed one into when she was lil my sec one I made shure they where thick.it might help ya out:)
