It doesnt go away completly but it does go away and relieves the itching and the pain.

I don't have it in front of my right now but I believe it is called Desonex and it works great! And we bathe every other day and have fragrence free everything. Check with your ped to see if he can prescribe something

TaraR - 895 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My daughter is 2 1/2 years. We have been dealing with this since she was 3 months. I took her to a specialist in St. Louis, MO. I was told creams irritate it more. Oitments should be prescribed. She also said give baths every other day. Use no soap or anything unless they have played outside, after their bath, pat them dry and use thick, greasy lotion. It will help moisturize their skin. She said the greasier the better. I put vasoline on my daughte's skin in the morning and at night before bed. Her skin looks so good and is so soft. I have a great ointment we are using right now. I can't remember the name but I can get it if you need it. Good luck!!!

Prevention, do you know of QV oil? its great for prevention. as for now when its all flared up, we have a product here called PINETARSOL, it comes in a soap, a liquid to add to the bath and a gel like one. The gel one can be sat on the skin in the bath and OMG its relief!! I am an agent orange baby, i used to get it like nappy rash, my poor mother said every wee i did i howled in pain!! I now only suffer on the scalp(thank god!) GoodLuck!!!

Austin::and::Alexs::Momma - 896 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) try to get it cleared up with the steroid cream and then prevention is key! keep his skin well moisturized - use moisturizing cream daily. avoid anything that would irritate his skin, try to use hypoallergenic (fragrance & dye free) everything (soaps, lotions, laundry products, wipes, diapers, ect.), use 100% cotton material, wash everything in very hot water, don't let him soak in the tub, ect.
