I`m currently 14 weeks preggo with number 2 and the past month have gotten 2 migranes and during the headache my hands and mouth go numb. What`s going on?

kenty - 893 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) migraines do become more frequent during pregnancy, i've noticed that mine get worse and i have the numb hands an mouth...midwife says it's nothing to be worried about at this stage though :S

luvmyboy - 894 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am prone to migranes I got them prepregnancy and I lucked out and didn't get any while I was pregnant but came back in full force post partum.. I never have the hand going numb but I see an Aura and then nausea then horrible headache! I would go to your doctor about the hands getting numb it sounds like it is a neurological problem.. I am so sorry you have to go through migraines during your pregnancy.. goodluck hope you feel better soon!

3duenov26 - 895 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've gotten Migraines most of my life and they usually cause my face and hand to go numb. However... when I've had them while I was pregnant, my Dr. wanted to know. They even had me go to the hospital once when I was 7mos. along with my daughter just to monitor me. I guess they can cause your BP to spike. I'd call your Dr. to let them know and see if it's something that office watches closely.
