Hi ladies! My twins were born 9 weeks early so I understand they aren`t going to weigh as much as a normal baby. One of them weighs 14 lbs 9 oz and the other weighs a mere 11lbs 6 oz! They are now 6 months old and their pediatrician wants the lil one back one neosure but he can`t seem to tolerate that. How can I help him gain weight? He already eats 2 solids a day and we put cereal in his bottles! I don`t know what else to do! TIA!!!

jumpingbean - 884 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) how much did he weigh at birth? My daughter wasn't gaining weight until I put her on formula. She was 6lbs 2 oz at birth and only 6lbs 7 oz at 7 weeks. Now at three months she is 11lbs 1 oz. If he can't handle it I would probably just try to find a heavier formula if they are on formula.
