one sign of GD is having to pee more than usual. i remember i'd have to pee AT LEAST every 30 or less minutes. i would wake up several times in the middle of the night because i had to pee. i'd pee so often that nothing would come out but the feeling is still there, and it WASN'T the baby messing with my bladder. and being more thirsty, and craving sweets and carbs. try when you eat carbs (fruit included), to eat them with a little bit of protein. ie cheese, or something like that.

Honestly, I had GD but the only time my sugar got high was with the glucola itself so I got to take the joyful 3 hour test too. After that, I had to check my sugar 5 times a day. My sugar never went over 112 no matter what I ate. I even ate cherry cheesecake lol! Fruit will raise your sugar a little but the big thing with GD is carbohydrates (pasta, bread blah blah blah) I didn't have to take medicine, they just told me to make sure it was getting over 125 or I would have to take something. I wasn't about to take medicine so I kept a real close eye on it. Good luck!
