I started feeding my girl table food at about 9 months old but she was definitly ready she refused to eat jars of food. she is now 14months and eating everything but hard candy. my son when he was little it took him til he was 12 months for table food. but every kid is different

nutnut - 888 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you can start now. depending on how good she is feeding herself you can definatly start with soft pastas that sort of thing. i would be sure that all the pieces of food you give her are bite sized easy for her to pick up and eat herself and do not pose choking hazzards. for example if you give her grapes you have to cut them up imo. also, if youre introducing food she hasnt had before, only give a small amount at a time in case she happens to be allergic to them. i wouldnt indroduce more than one or two new foods each time just in case of allergies. you can either stop all together now with the jar, or do both like let her feed herself the finger foods, while you feed her the jar stuff. my daughter was eating table food at 6months old. she just started to refuse the jars once she got a taste of mama's good cookin lol!

vamama - 888 days ago Okay what's the estimated age should I stop now or when she is 11 months old.

M2G - 888 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I stopped all jarred foods at 6 months. My daughter has been on table foods since then (she just turned 1). Offer large pieces of things so that she can get the hang of feeding herself.

mariettap - 888 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Any time at all. Some babies never use jarred/pureed foods at all. If she's already eating some table foods and they're going down well, then you might as well save your money and stop buying baby food.
