I registered at Babies R Us and Walmart. Walmart becasue it is the only store aroung where my in-laws live. Once I have the baby shower in that area, I am takin everything lef ton that registry and adding it to the BRU one. Register for EVERYTHING becasue they let you buy anything left over on the registry at a discount! They don't do taht at Walmart though (which is why I am going to switch everyhing over to BRU).

I would just register at one place. Babies r us has everything. You can put big things, small things, and stuff for all price ranges. If you register at more than one place, make sure it's for different things or you'll end up with duplicates. But where ever you register, put everything you want or need on there!

Nothing is too big or too small. In fact, I recomment registering for a wide variety because some of your friends won't have much to spend, and some may pool their money together to get you something big. I would suggest putting diapers on the list...

Put everything you want. I put the crib and dresser on mine because my BF's mom offered to buy it for us. I did it mostly to make it easier so she could just get it whenever she wanted. Put items big and even little $1 or $2 items. Some people may see something they want to get you that is $20 but they want to spend $25 so they'll add a little something else. I did hear that Target is a nightmare for return/exchanges without receipts so be careful there. Everyone told me not to bother with that one.

I'm from the UK so we don't have baby registrys - though they're becoming more common, but I'd never add an expensive piece of equipment or nursery furniture item.. I'd feel far too cheeky :/

i did mine at walmart & babies r us to. i did put duplicate things on there because i was thinking about some people might only look at 1 registry(the closest one to them) you can put the big things like, crib, stroller, bassinet, swing, bouncer, you can put, pacifiers, bottals, clothes, bibs, burb clothes, a swaddle is good to have also,, and a diaper genie is also good to have. just put whatever you want to put on it, and whatever you dont get you can go out and get yourself... thats what im doing. good luck!
