how many of you have autistic children?

I`m deathly scared of my boys having austism. So I have been doing research. About vaccines and autism and just wonder how many of you have autistic children and think that it was due to shots? What were the symptoms? How many of you have twins that are autistic? Any help with this before I drive myself crazy!?

xXxEXPLOxXx - 882 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My cousin's autisic. His was caused (not 100% proven, of course) by bacterial meningitus (if that's the non-lethal one). My stepson is autistic, and his cause is not genetic, but the doctor can't say what caused it (not even speculate). Autism being linked to vacines was a stunt created by parents desperate for a link to why their children were sick (my opinion). You can't deal with "maybes", you want CAUSES, therefore they paid a great deal of money for a negitive answer (personal opinion). Also, at the end of the day, if there is a link, I would prefer my child had Autism then died from MMR. Again, my personal opinion.

mommysprice - 883 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my son has been put on the ASD spectrum... and i personally believe that vaccines did play a PART in it. I know that it is so contoversial so i will not go into detail...but i will say that the son that i am pregnant with will not recieve vaccines before the age of 18 months and he will not get all 36 then. Just follow you gut and heart and as a mother i am sure you will make the best decision for your child.

chrissy-511 - 885 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My twin nephews were just diagnosed with autism and they are 8yrs old. They have a few other problems like mild asthma & one has very mild terets, but i don't think it was shots that caused any of it...

4boys..1stgirlontheway - 885 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my second youngest son has aspergers which is a mild form of autism .... i dont think vac had anything to do with it, it just so happens that they symptoms generally start to appear around the time they have their last one b4 starting school, between the ages of 18 months and 2 yrs old the childs brain starts firing up in new places that havent been used b4 then so thats why its very hard to get a diagnosis b4 2. life isnt easy with an autistic child but with medical help and care and patience on the parents part its managable.

mother649808 - 885 days ago I know it is a genetic issue but that also it started back in the 1920s and 30s due to our past generations being exposed to large amounts of mercury in the agriculture and plants back then. Maybe I worded that wrong in the post. I know vaccs don't "cause" the autism but it is showing more and more after the vaccs are given. Almost as if the vaccs are onsetting the gene. Mercury is what started this whole issue and that is what they have in the shots as well as the preservative thirmosal. Did you ladies know that 13 of these vaccs they inject our children with are cultured with aborted fetal tissues? How can some be against abortion but then use that very "ingredient" in our vaccinations?? I'm sorry I'm just having a hard time digesting all of this. My first 2 kids had all of their vaccs and my twins are currently up to date but now I'm starting to question this!

RobinG - 885 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son is autistic, has ASD, and I dont believe one iota that it was from vacs. If you research, do some research on the dirty dozen ~ you will see the pesticides our babies are exposed to and our eggs from our own diets and such in non organic foods has alot of impact on our brains/body ~ for ex apples ~ With 36 different chemicals detected in FDA testing, half of which are neurotoxins (meaning they cause brain damage), apples are very contaminated. Peeling non-organic apples reduces but does not eliminate the danger of ingesting these chemicals. Not from vacs. I think we are born with it and those babies who change after vacs are responding to it but with a dx they already had. There are moms who have kids who are autistic that have no vacs done so not getting vacs doesnt prevent it. And diets have been proven (gluten free and organic) to reduce the symptoms of autism. My family has the BRCA-1 genetic gene, the difference between getting cancer and not is how the cancer gene is fed. I feel the same goes for autism. How it is fed will determine if it shows its face or not. Vacs may bring it out but I dont think they cause it ~ hope this helps.
