Hi everybody, not really a Q, but I used to be a member of this site. I`m starting a one year, no makeup journey! Usually I absolutely refuse to leave the house without my face slathered with make up, and my hair full of product. I could use some emotional support on this adventure... momof2boyz - 882 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hey msmodernbeauty, You are a beautiful young woman who doesn't need make-up .. you should be thankful to God for granting you such beauty.. I think I have been in this journey for 2 years now, I didn't plan for that but I feel more free without make-up. I wear it sometimes and in some occasions but not on a daily basis.. Good luck in your journey and just keep remembering that roses are beautiful without wearing make-up :)

mtnwoman - 882 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have not worn make-up except for a few times, and that was just a little mascara, etc. I do not wear it because 1: I've always been "sporty" (I wouldn't call it a tom boy) and being active, spur-of-the-moment, always came before primping and preening. 2: I have had allergic reactions in the last few years to mascara to where my eye lids will swell up almost shut (you should have seen me the morning after my wedding, I'm sure he was worried I would look like that every morning for the rest of his life! lol) My point is, if you can get by without make up and be happy, then do it! Natural beauty is amazing, and from your photos you seem to be a natural beauty. I'm not saying that wearing make up is bad, and I'm not saying that if you can go with out it, that makes you better than someone. I just know that habits are hard to break, and that people are so hard on them selves and pick out flaws that may not even be there, or that others do not see. You just have to love yourself, with or with out makeup. It can not define who you are. :)

rickettsrules - 882 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Your blog is wonderful. My opinion is that you look BETTER without makeup. You really do have natural beauty, your features are well defined without being sharp and your eyes are a stunning colour. You should be so proud of yourself.
