My last period was 5.26 and went in for an ultrasound today thinking I am 16 weeks 6 days and I am only 14 weeks 1 day? I don`t get it!!

nutnut - 877 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my dr. said im due jan 30, but according to me im due jan 24. the dr. said they will measure, but measuring is just "average" so there is a chance you can be two weeks earlier or two weeks later than what they measure you at. with my daughter, they told me july 4th and i said no, its july 12th. they induced me july 10 my daughter was born. =)

mariettap - 877 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's nothing to worry about. They use a mouse and click to measure parts of the fetus. They do take multiple measurements to be more reliable, but there's still room for error. Plus, people grow to all different sizes, in utero and after born.

mama-sl0p - 877 days ago Yeah it doesn't make sense. I KNOW I am not 14 weeks. My uterus is at my belly button. Just so frustrating. I hope my dr can figure this out. I can see being a week off but not almost 3. I don't have irregular periods so....ugh!

my.family - 877 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yah same thing happened with me with my previous pregnancy. but i have heard this happen to lots girls on here. an IAP friend of mine was told she was due 7/23/09, but according to her LMP she was due 7/10/09...and she ended up have her baby on 7/10/09...makes you wonder if those U/S machines are really working...
