ok i have posted about my situation before, my hcg was 3111 and nothing was seen on the transvaginal US. i know that i O`d late... however the numbers suggest that i am in week5. but ultra sound didnt show anything in uterus or the tube. my hcg 24hrs later was 4550 and the DR said this must be ectopic if nothing was seen on the scan, but i insisted on waiting till thur for my scheduled scan. he said no i will do one tomorrow (wed) he doesnt want to wait and me lose my tube. so he canceld my thurs appt and changed to tomorrow, ( i just had the scan done on monday) i am not having ANY pain or bleending hcg numbers have doubled perfectly the entire time. any advice??? i feel like im running out of time as my DR is not very sensitive (military hospital)...

mommyguild - 875 days ago i agree with the both of you, i am having another scan today. the DR insisted on not waiting at all for anything in the casr that something could rupture. i was in pain before my tube ruptured last time... so im either not that far yet, or its just not in my tube. it could be that it is somewhere else floating around... but i hope not. we'll see what happens with this scan and i'll keep you posted. hopefully the radiologist can give me some information, as last time he wouldnt let me look at the screen or anything. the clinic is closed at 430 and my US is at 5 so the DR wont be back in till tomorrow, id hate to have to wait again LOL in that case we should just have had the scan tomorrow anyway LOL

last.one.for.me - 875 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) mommy, you know my thoughts on this - the tubes are WAY smaller than a uterus - so if they can't find it in your tubes then I dont see how they can INSIST this is an ectopic pregnancy? I agree, makesure it's not floating about somewhere outside of the uterus AND tubes, but I'd want another ultrasound next week to - to make ABSOLUTELY sure - unless definitely seen in the tubes or outside of the uterus on your next scan. The chances of another ectopic are 15%, so odds are in YOUR favour...

RobinG - 876 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Insist on abdominal scan too, sometimes they implant outside the uterous and tubes. VERY rare but has happened.
