I was great when I had my book, `What to Expect, the first year but now my son is past 1 and I need some help!!! lol. Anyways my son is 14 months old and is drooling like crazy, I mean i have to change his shirt at least 3 times a day (he won`t keep the bib on). I know he is still teething but I don`t see other kids as wet as him when we go out... is this normal?

mellowyellow - 868 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oh my! I remember this with my son at around this age and onwards. It always happened when he was teething. I was always washing his shirts and he'd get drool rash on his chin. He always smelt like slobber!! He'll grow out of it! I used to sneak into his room when he was asleep and rub a little zinc cream onto his chin to help keep his skin dry. I remember going through 3 or 4 tops every day and the little bugger refused to wear a bib.... when he's old enough I intend to make him do all the washing as revenge!!! LOL
