baby is almost 6 months, not sitting up yet?

I feel like everyone else`s baby is sitting up and crawling already. anyone whose baby took longer to sit and crawl?

LailasMommy - 162 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) well my laila did start sitting early at 5 months she could sit unassisted perfectly but no crawling yet and she is 6 1/2 months....crawling usually doesn't happen till more like 8 or 9 months she is trying but no luck yet. don't worry every baby is different and do things on their own time;)

TANYA214 - 169 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) crawling at 6 months is insane lol..i know LO's are doing it..but thats REALLY EARLY! regardless if are babies do it at 6 months or 8 months they will do it :) my LO just started sitting unsupported and he is a little over 6 months...but no crawling..not even close! your baby is gonna sit soon,,it will happen from one day to the next ;)

She sat on her own around 7 1/2 months and began crawling around 8 1/2 months. She loved her tummy time but just wanted to laugh and look at me. I am sure your little one is perfect just were they're at.

MummyLJ - 169 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son will be 7 months in a week, and he just started sitting unsupported in the last few days. It was like, all of a sudden he figured it out. Still no signs of crawling or talking though, but like everyone said- all babies grow at different paces. Don't fret!

mariettap - 169 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) This is why they have well visits with their pediatricians so often. They check out the whole picture, not just one or two aspects of their development. If your doc were concerned about not sitting independently or crawling, then you'd have heard about it and been given some tips on helping her. Play groups can make you crazy, with all the moms comparing car seats and minivans and watching their babies develop at different rates. My 1st got to all the milestones later than the other babies, except for talking. She yacked your ear off at 11 mos, but couldn't crawl or walk until 15 mos. :)

kenty - 169 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my baby didn't sit on her own properly until about 7months...she is now 11months and still doesn't crawl...she shows absolutely no interest in doing it...have been told a million times not to worry, babies do what they want when they want
