Heartbeat during early pregnancy

Has/does anyone experience a really thudding heartbeat in early pregnancy? I know your heart rate rises, but I experience a very strong heartbeat that almost borders on uncomfortable. It`s mostly exaggerated after a meal or at night when I lay down to sleep. I had this my pregnancy last year and eased off further into pregnancy, but is it normal? Should I gedt checked out? I dont recall it with my first (7 years old) but happened last year with my now 6 month old and again this time. I am 7 weeks pregnant..

tracy108 - 864 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes it is normal I had this through most of my pregnancy and was even sent to see the cardiologist so only told me to cut out all caffiene tea coffe chocolate etc aand all alcohol I did see some improvement so maybe try this.

katznkt - 864 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yup. It happens. Nothing wrong... I think of it like your body getting accustomed to the increase in blood flow. Because it seems to happen most in the first trimester. For me it would feel like my heart was racing and and beating almost too loud. But everything was fine and normal and I haven't felt that in a while now that i am 24 weeks.
