Positive or evaporation line? Please read and answer!

So I took a equate early result blue dye test on Friday and it had a very thin faint faint line. I breastfeed so I have not got AF yet so I can`t go off my cycle but was just feeling like I did when I was pregnant with my daughter so thought I should test. The line came up almost immediately and kinda faded after 10 minutes but is still there (barely)... What do you think? I took another dollar store test later that night and it was negative. I do have an appt on Wednesday to get a urine test at a clinic but wanted your advice...I`m so impatient and just want to know if i am or not...

Diane-taketwo - 862 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The blue dye tests are known for causing evaporation lines - and they can come up right away, especially if the blue part was at the edge of the test line. Hopefully you'll get a convincing result at the doctor's office! If you try another home test, go for a pink dye test like First Response. Good luck!

lisab123 - 862 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would say just go and buy a name brand test and then you will know. Maybe digital so it gives you a clear yes or no.

abbyquiet - 862 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i would say a positive is a positivie, especially if it came up right away. although idk, i've only taken 2 pregnancy tests and i was pregnant both times. but i kinda remember that your supposed to read it after a certain time like a minute or 2, you get your result and then discard it. but i could be wrong.

mother649808 - 862 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think by the time u get done with all these cheap test, u could have just bought one good one for the same price. I'm not trying to bash you, please don't get me wrong. I've never had a good experience with an off brand test. My best has always been first response and they are to terribly expensive. I've also not had good luck with the newest digital tests either. Just the regular first response! Good luck!
