You will always get conflicting answer sadly ~ all 3 of my docs all say when you've COMPLETED 38 weeks, not before and I agree. My SIL worked in L&D for years and now in a high risk docs office, perinatal and they too say the same. I was high risk with my 3rd and was told end of 38 weeks. Docs differ on many things and sadly this is how it is with many things ((hugs))

I was told 37 weeks was full term

my doctor said 38-42 bc basically by then the baby should be fully developed.

We have just been told at our antenatal classes that full term is anywhere between 37 - 42 weeks. I hope this helps?

37 but my hospital told me that they changed it to 38 weeks
