I had a vbac and it was the worst ever :( I suffered two years of pain and suffering from it. One mom on here sadly lost her baby from it. I'd never recommend it. They are very risky and not worth it to me. Sorry I cant share good news on it ~

I had a VBAC when my son was 17 months old. 4 days overdue, went into labor and had to have pitocin 12 hrs into labor since I got to 5cm and would not dilate anymore. But they started it off slow and another 12 hours later I started pushing. It was AMAZING! I am so glad I did not have to have another section. I healed so much quicker and an hour after she was born I was up walking around, holding my 17 month old while my family oohd and aaahd over the baby! :) Good luck! It's a great experience!

My friend gave birth to twins last month by VBAC. Her older child (a singleton) is 2. As long as your cut is horizontal along your bikini line rather than vertical, all down your tummy, it shouldnt be a problem because there is a much less risk of uterine rupture. That is why most c sections now are cut horizontally. good luck!

Hey!
I have not had a c-section, but a friend of mine did. She is pregnant again, and over due, and they will not induce her because of the previous c-section. If she were to go into labor naturally, she would be able to try, just not able to be induced. Hope this helps!! Oh yeah.. and her babies are about 2 years apart.

My mom had a Vbac, she had me naturally then my brother was an Emergency C Section and then she had a VBAC trial of labor with my little brother, she labored for 9 hours and only progressed to 2 cm so they took him in a C Section also, but at least she tried.
