I ladies, I had a D&C less than 12 hours ago and I was wondering if its normal to not spot afterwards? I have had no bleeding since the D&C.

skittles0607 - 842 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have had 2 D&Cs and I bleed both times. The first time I bleed like a period then it tapered off to spotting then nothing. The second time it took a day to start spotting.

rickettsrules - 843 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm sorry to hear about your loss. It's such a hard time I know. I bleed heavily for a few hours after the D&C and then only the lightest, light spotting for a few days. They've taken all the blood and tissue out of you so there's not a lot more to come out.

4boys..1stgirlontheway - 843 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it can take upto 48 hrs for the spotting to start or some ppl dont get any at all, ive had a few d&c's in my time and i usually start bleeding within a day or 2 from the procedure and its only ever light spotting that lasts for a few days, hope that helps :)
