Having twins need help Added: 839 days ago. Added by: jakobsmommy2 Section: General. Status: This question is Closed. (Questions will be closed after 10 days.)
Okay...so i found out at 18 weeks that I am expecting twins. I am scared to death...mostly of the money aspect of the whole thing. I have a 2 year old son and we were only especting one. Does any one know where or how to get discounts on things like diapers or strollers? we are a one income family.

Honestly if you search around you can get booklets of coupons and ideas. There are plenty of places that are willing to help parents of multiples. Just google discounts for multiples or something.

omg-it took the doc 18wks to figure that out! wow! i would just start cliping coupons. and siging up online for free diapers and formula. I love Sam's Club-diaper and formula come in bulk for a reasonable price.

When I had my twins, my oldest was not even 2 yet (we are a one income family too). We bought our diapers at Sam's club because you can get a ton of diapers for less. You can also sign up at Pampers.com and Huggies.com and they will send you coupons. If you have any friends with babies you can see if they will give you the stuff their kids have grown out of. Our oldest was a girl and then our twins were boy and girl. I had all of the girl stuff I needed and got a lot of the boy stuff from my sister-in-law. Also, my twins shared a crib for a long time. The nurses at the hospital told me they would be more comfortable like that while they were babies. Good luck!

We are a one income family as well....I use coupons, shop at second hand stores pretty much exclusively!!! I shop at Aldi for food or buy off brand stuff. Really makes a difference!
