skittles0607 - 834 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Most want you to come in about 8 weeks or so. This is when they can see alot on an u/s. You can call them at anytime to let them know that you have had a positive HPT.

megandgrace - 835 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I called the day i took a test and they got me the next week. Did an ultrasound to determine my dates and i was only 5 weeks along. Then scheduled my next appointment for 9 weeks where they did blood work. Personally i have always thought you went in right away, especially with your first. I couldn't imagine waiting until 8, 9, 12 weeks for my first appointment, i would have been going crazy!!!

my.family - 835 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With my son, I went at 12wks. With my daughter I went at 9wks. and i found out I was pregnant at 4wks with both of them.

vickiessecret - 835 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With my first I took a HPT it was positive, so I called the dr. and they did bloodwork and it came back positive. They didn't see me till I was almost 16 weeks, but they prescribed vitamins and eveything. This pregnancy, I took HPT and it was positive and I had my first appt at 9 weeks. I think because with my first I was having problems towards the end. It seems like forever.

lb71 - 835 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) When I tested positive on a HPT @ 5.5wks, I called my OB to make an appt and they didn't want to see me until 8 or 9 weeks. Seemed like for-EVAH until that appt arrived! (And even then, I only saw the nurse, who took my detailed med history; didn't see the dr until 12 or 13 wks).

abbyquiet - 835 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) dont they generally tell you when to schedule the apt. or like you call to schedule your first apt and they do it waaay in advance. i don't think i was seen till like 12 weeks.

bee2bee - 835 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Wait until you are 8 to 9 weeks preggers. I went and set up an appointment the day I peed on the stick and I had to wait until I was 8 weeks. I had my blood tests done and my first ultrasound.

ziggiez - 835 days ago More info: My doctor told me its too early and I need to wait 4 weeks before I can come in. Does this sound right? This is our first pregnancy and I don't know what is normal or not.
