Painted Cradle and Still Smelly. Added: 21 days ago. Added by: desiree79 Section: General. Status: This question is Closed. (Questions will be closed after 10 days.)
Hi, My husband painted our son`s cradle two days ago and it seemed okay so I brought it inside and set it up and he has gone to sleep in it right now, but I can now notice that I can still smell some fumes, but he is fast asleep and dont want to wake him.. He is 4 and half months old.. Should I be worried? Can the fumes hurt him? Please note that I live in Australia and have different paint etc than some other countries but I am worried..

Ever been in a new house? It might take the new pain smell to wear off.

Well AliciaTTCBaby2 I used what the man at our local Mitre10 told me to use... Hmmmm not so sure I should have listen to him now... But I have washed it down with warm soapy water and have put it out in the sun now.. hopefully that will pull the odour out of it...
