can gas it be gas or braxton hicks?

I often feel these pains that the doctor says it braxton hicks but they do hurt at times. I know a doctor knows what they are saying but could the pains be gas pains?

kathrien - 20 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yeah I beleave so cuz I was having bad pains and I felt the need to use the bathroom but I couldn't so I called by doc and they said it was braxton hicks but I took meds to b able to go to the bathroom cuz I really thought that's what it was instead of the brxson hicks cuz it only happend really when I felt the need to go to the bathroom but I took the meds and feelig. Better now and if I don't take it then it starts hurting again but its like pains in my lower stomache so I say go to the store and get phillips and take it b 4 u go to bed and if u hurt again go to the bathroom cuz that could b it cuz it was what was wrong with me and I know it wasn't braxon hicks it was gas so yeah

juels101 - 21 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The difference you'll notice with BH (which do sometimes hurt) is that your tummy will become hard as well. It is an actual contraction, just a random pracice one.

zoe - 21 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) doc is prob right i was surprised when i went into labour a week early out of nowhere ma waters broke, i said to the doctor i didnt expect it i didnt have braxton hicks justt gas n he put me on the ecg monitor and said it wasnt gas it was braxton hicks!!!!! it is very easily mistaken for gas!!!!
