I was just wondering, my mother in law, is telling me I should have another babyshower. I just have my daughter 14months ago. I was always told you have 1 baby shower, like unless your kids are years apart or if your with a different father and it`s his first. I would just feel weird, having another one, when I just had one, I feel like I`d be expecting too much of everyone. What would everyone else do?? Thanks :)

jamiespaulding - 832 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You could always have a diaper shower since you probaly have most of the items you need.

lb71 - 832 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oh, honey - enjoy it! Showers aren't just for gifts -- they are for celebrating the mom and the new baby!! I say have one for every baby! And if you just don't need any stuff but ppl still want to buy gifts, then have a charity shower - everyone brings a baby gift, and then you donate it to a mom in need. Win-win!!

adkinsrus07 - 832 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) No no no dont listen to the "old times" - every child is a different little miracle to be celebrated- sure you probably dotn need the big stuff like strollers or cribs- but who couldnt use a little help- diapers, bottles etc!!! Also if it is a different gender they can buy ya clothes too!!! If they are your freinds and fam and want to through your newest lil one a shower then let them- dont feel ashamed. My mom-n-law is throwing my my 2nd on Sat for our little girl due in 3 weeks- I had one less than 2 years ago thrown by her for our son. No Biggie!!!!

Hebelboy2 - 832 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oh, hell no! :) Take advantage!! I would. My sister in laws been married for 10years, she had a daughter and a son, 15months apart and she still had a show for both. Have fun with it girl!!

marli - 832 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think that if someone throws it for you than it's ok, but I wouldn't plan one for myself. I didn't have a shower with my second, mainly because they were 17 months apart and both boys. I have a friend who told me that if this next one is a girl than she is going to throw me a shower since I have nothing for a little girl :)
