Hi, I`m 4 mo pregnant and my 70 lb puppy just stepped on my lower belly with his hind legs. it hurt a little and about an hour later I feel some anniying mild pinching in that area. should I be concerned, or stop this paranoia? thank you

Cindie - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yea, i think baby is fine. he/she has a cushion of fluid surrounding them and keeping him or her safe. As long as you don't have contractions, or start bleeding/spotting you should be alright.

my.family - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i am sure that bubs is fine...but if you are really worried i would call the doc.

Most dogs know the limits and they know when you are pregnant, so trust their judgement. I'm sure it was an accident. Either way, your womb is "doggy proof" and whatever else proof that you may run into (I use to run my big ol' belly into the kitchen table chairs at least once a day!)It's hard not to worry, I know, but it will be alright. If you're to worried, give your Dr a call and let them know but I would say after all the things I ran my big ol' belly into you'll be alright. Good luck!

mama2be12.24.09 - 830 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i have 5 dogs and a 90 lb pit bull puppy stepped on my belly a lot at that point, besides painful and scary i had no bleeding or anything and doc said baby was fine since at that point they are still pretty covered by everything and small. if u have cramping bleeding or anything id get checked out

mommykate - 830 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think if your really worried you should call you doctor, but I wouldnt worry. Well, thats a lie, lol! when I was 7 months pregnant and half asleep I came out of my bathroom and tossed myself onto my bed stomach down as if I wasnt pregnant. it was like I forgot i was or something in my sleepy state! It hurt so much and I was convinced I must have broken my babys neck (she was still breech at that point). I got a nasty bruise on my tummy but she was fine :)

NinaBo-Bina - 830 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Unless you see blood or the cramping gets so severe, you shouldn't worry. You definitely should rush to the hospital if any of these things occur. Be careful hun!
