lb71 - 828 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have a very slender friend who just gave birth last week, and she never felt BH. I believe some women do and some don't, but weight is not necessarily the deciding factor.

fadeintoreality - 828 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didn't have any and I am overweight

AliciaTTCBaby2 - 828 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I only had braxton hicks once, 3 days before I had her at 39.2 weeks

rickettsrules - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Everyone told me that I wouldn't feel my baby moving until much later because I'm overweight. That wasn't the case at all! I think it's the same with braxton hicks, some people start getting them at 3 months and others don't get them at all. It has nothing to do with how much you weigh.

nutnut - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) im over weight i feel them now with my second. with my first i didnt feel them and i wasnt over weight at that time. i think it just depends and like anything else each pregnancy is different.

FinalScore1girl2boys - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With my first I didn't know what to expect and had them and didn't know until labor what they were, they didn't hurt at all and just felt like a tight belly...and only came for a couple days before I was due. Then 2nd and 3rd pregnancy i noticed them more and earlier but I think it was because I knew what Iwas looking for. I gained different amounts on each pregnancy too and don't think that made any difference.

juels101 - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Heh me too and yea I felt them. I had none with my first pregnancy, lots with my second and none yet with this one, so I dont think it happens with everyone, at least not so you can feel.

Bexnz - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) im a small person and when pregnant with my first i felt none at all until a week before i had her, but with my 2nd i had them daily from 28weeks, so i dont think size has anything to do with it. i wouldnt worry, theyl come when they are ready. xx

ohiomomof4boys - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am a little over weight myself and I felt them alot. I had some that were not painful at all, just a little tightening. I started having the more painful braxton hicks contractions when I was about 36 weeks.

amber-lamber - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm 28 weeks and I also haven't felt ANY braxton hicks, which I think is really weird. Im also a bit over weight. I was about 145 before I got pregnant and I'm only about 5'2"...about 165 now, but I can't imagine being chubby has anything to do with it? I'm glad you asked though cause I'm really curious why I haven't felt any. Sorry this doesn't help you any!

my.family - 829 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my sister in law is really overweight (like 300lbs) and she could feel BH.
