ok..SO MY SON has had reflux since birth, was pretty bad, he was super miserable the first 3 months of his life,,anyway he is almost 8 months old,super fat and super happy! but he still spits up and gets a ton of mucous in his chest at time, so much you can hear it rattling, his voice gets very scratchy at times,,and when he spits up a lot of mucous comes up...has ne one else gone through this? when did it get better? thanks ladies

mariettap - 826 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) We saw significnt improvement at 6 mos and were able to stop using Zantac. My LO is 11 mos now, and still has mild reflux, but it has very little impact on her now. I see some burbling, a kind of "vurp" and she shows mild discomfort, then within a moment or two she moves on and its all over with.
