Have any of you after a c-section gotten a really red and itch `rash` from where the surgical tape was? I had a classic incision which is about 12 inches from my belly button down and on both sides of it, where it was taped, after they stiched me up is now red and extremely itchy since the tape pieces have fallen off. Anyone have any suggestions to relieve this insane itchiness?? Tia.

jen - 825 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) a cool compress not only helped with the swollen area, but also helped with my itchies. you may have also been semi-allergic to the tape, and in that case once the tape and residue are off, it will be better.
