I`m new to this but I want advice last night I was taking a shower and I felt bumps around the opening of my vagina I looked and they were lined up I have some inside and out I`m scared! It burns when I pee too and they burn too! Does anybody have this problem I`m scared to go to the doctors don`t want to hear bad news????

But whatever it is, it is very unlikely to have anything to do with your pregnancy or your baby's well being. It's not a question for your next well-visit. It's a separate issue. I agree with the others: Call and have them squeeze you in so you can get it straightened out quickly.

courtenay - 820 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) um that sounds like some kind of infection... better to get it checked then to ignore it

Lisa-and-Jason - 820 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yeast infection? The bumps could be irritation.

hannahe - 820 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i agree i dont think that is a normal symptom of pregnancy. hopefully its nothing but if it is causing you pain you dont want to have to put up with that long:( doc will know what it is

lb71 - 820 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Go to the dr, sweetie! No time like the present to get used to intimate exams with your dr, lol. Esp since it hurts to pee and you're going to be doing that a LOT in the next 28 weeks or so. :) It could be an infection, or a pH imbalance - for instance there's a condition called cytolitic vaginitis (or vaginosis?) where too much acidity in the vagina can actually burn the tissue, causing redness and pain, and if it breaks the skin then it would burn to pee as well. Or, maybe it's a bacterial infection. Or, know you don't want to think about this but maybe it's an STD. But you need a dr to diagnose it, and then you can treat it, and then you can put it behind you. What news could be worse than what you're feeling right now? Good luck!
