Signs Of Labour

I am 39 weeks pregnant and was wandering if anyone has gone into labour without having any `signs` prior. I have had some braxton hicks, nothing too noticeable and haven`t lost my plug, I have had no other signs at all. Has anyone gone into labour without experiencing any signs? Thank you

bebe77 - 819 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) oh, yeah...no loss of plug, no contractions, no dilation, nada. my water had actually broken but the trickle was so light and infrequent i didn't know it. i was nine days overdue and scheduled to be induced and at the hospital a test of the discharge proved to be amniotic fluid. By that time I was having mild contractions, but there were absolutely no signs leading up to labor that I was actually in it!

jastinel - 819 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) hi,i had just my stomache tightening every now and then ,never lost a plug my doc had me go in at 3 centi,they had to break my water ,once they did that i had no strong contractions until 3 hours prior to baby being born

AliciaTTCBaby2 - 819 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didn't have any signs, I don't even remember if I lost my mucus plug I think I did but not sure how long before. I had braxton hicks for about 10 minutes on new years eve 3 days before I went into labour, only once. I was told id get the runs a few days before coz my body would have a clean out, so I was waiting for that haha that never came. And my waters broke unexpectidly while I was asleep at like 8am but yeh I had no prior signs.

Sarah - Hopeful for 2010 baby - 820 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I did. I had some braxton hicks but went into very strong established labour out of the blue. I was 40 + 3 weeks. Labour ended up as a total of around 3 1/2 hours. Good Luck.
