Adult teeth Added: 818 days ago. Added by: mellowyellow Section: General. Status: This question is Closed. (Questions will be closed after 10 days.)
My 6 year old boy has lost one of his bottom teeth and the adult tooth is growing in very crooked. His other bottom baby tooth is still attatched despite the fact that the other adult tooth has come in behind it. His baby tooth is quite wobbly but it is well and truely connected to the gum bed still. Do I force the issue and pull it out? It has been loose but not dangling for about 3 weeks now. It looks greyish and the adult tooth behind it is coming in at an angle so isnt pushing the baby tooth out properly. It looks dreadful!!!
Any advice greatfully accepted!

I would just leave it to fall out, My sons teeth grew in crooked but sorted themseves out when they came right trough so don't worry about that.

my 7 year old had similar issues with her teeth, they fell out on their own after a couple months and there appears to be more room so they are straightening themselves out. the only time i would worry would be if the baby teeth werent loose at all. just to be on the safe side, you could talk with his dentist next check up. typically if there is room, they straighten themselves out. the dentist should be able to tell you if you should worry or not. out here most of the time unless there is pain, or infection, they try to let nature take its course (within limits of course) my daughter had 4 baby teeth behind the adult teeth. and 4 that were very crooked. once she lost the most recent two teeth those all settled in fairly straight. but from 5-6 i didnt think they would ever be straight but they are now. she started loosing teeth shortly after she turned 4. hope this helps =)
