My 8 months old has 6 little teeth and she frequently grinds them together. It really bothers me and I am sure it is bad for her... Any ideas on how to get her to stop?

Also a cold or warm teething ring to chew on. The grinding will stop, but right now she is learning about and exploring her new teeth - encourage her curiosity with biscuts/pacifiers/cold rings and teach her everything that her teeth will do and how to care for them...even though she can't speak now; she is listening. Good luck!

megandgrace - 814 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My 22 month old still does this every now and then. She started when she got her molars, i would just tell her to stop but she would still do it. Now that she is old enough i tell her that it can hurt her teeth, which i am not sure if it really does, but she listens to me now. I think she actually just does it to bother me! :) Sorry this doesn't really help but your not alone!
