I am 25 weeks pregnant and last night I saw a mouse com out from under my stove. We live out in the country so its not a huge suprise there are tons of cats around and I have never seen any mice before. I am scared to death over mice I know it probally sounds silly but I am scared out of my mind I thought last night I was going to go into labour I was so terrified. But I am more worried about my baby is there anything that can harm my baby? My husband put traps out but I am too scared to look to see if the mouse is there. Just wondering if any one else has had this problem while being pregnant? Thanks

lulabell7 - 1805 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) get mice/rat poison it works much better. Makesure you dont leave any food out or bread crumbs.

lb71 (Karen) - 1805 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Not me, but once the mouse is caught, put out some extra traps just to make sure it didn't bring friends inside with it... and then unfortunately you'll need to get busy with some bleach. Better yet, you go out for a mani/pedi and your husband gets busy with the bleach! Take everything out of your lower cabinets, wash all of the dishes, pots, pans, etc, and then wash out the cabinets with bleach water and rinse it before putting the dishes etc back in. Check your bathroom cabinets, too, and your closets and any other corners or cozy spaces, for mouse poop because mice tend to scamper around and you don't want mouse poop to be anywhere that your LO might find and want to investigate... having a mouse in your house isn't going to hurt your unborn baby, but you want to sterilize everywhere it's been before your baby is born. And you are better off not being the one to clean up the mouse poop or touch the things it may have touched, just to be on the safe side. Hence mani/pedi for you, bottle of bleach for hubby. :-)
