I`m 3-weeks PP, and wondering when the bleeding stops?? I had an uncomplicated pregnancy, but was considered a `high-risk` labour due to quick onset of pre-eclampsia during the final days, literally, and blood loss of 250 ml (not allot, but more then usual). Don`t know if all that makes a difference to PP bleeding or not, but worth a mention. Lol. Thanks, ladies. x

mylittleman - 754 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My first was a c-section and I bled for about 5 wks. 2nd was a vaginal and I bled for an entire 8 weeks....the last few weeks were light but oh my gosh was it annoying! My Dr. said if it went past 8 wks to come back in but luckily it didn't.

mariettap - 754 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It depends on your activity level. If in your first 6 wks you are pretty active it will be heavier and longer. If you truly take it easy (no stairs, only lifting baby, let others run the errands) then it will taper away sooner and be much easier on you. I tried both ways, and taking it easy was sooo much better.
