My son was the same way. I would have to make him laugh to get his mouth open and feed him that way. It took about a week and a half of doing this before he finally was willing to eat more and liked the food. I also use baby food mesh feeder and put in fruits such as bananas. Babies can eat that on their own and you don't have to worry about them choking on food.

Your baby probably isnt ready for solids. Solid food is only practise for the first year. Breastmilk is all your baby needs for the first year. You should try maybe once a week or so and see if she will try it. But if not don't worry. I made my baby food. I got a blender and puried my babys food. Maybe that would taste better.

Mine did this. I tried 2x/day for about 3 mos. She even got upset and would swat the spoon away, splatting baby ook all over the kitchen. Then at about 9 mos of age, we gave up on baby ook and gave her teensy bits of food from our own plates. I mean little specks. She needed to be in charge, and with a spoon coming at her, she was no in charge. I'd put a teeny bit on her tongue and after a few weeks she figured it out. It takes some babies longer to work all that out. She will.

Have you tried giving her real food to gum? Not all babies like baby food. I know my friend gives her daughter bread and crackers to drool over and then veggies that are cut into tiny pieces. She might just hate the consistancy of baby food. Hope this helps a little? I've never had a baby yet.
