On 2 different occasions I had a very annoying ringing in my left ear. First the room/noise in the room gets muted & then the ringing begins. I`m 5 weeks & have not be exposed to any loud noises. Basically, I want to know if anyone else has experienced this & what`s the reasoning behind it.....ear infection, high blood pressure....etc?? Thx!

taylorsmom24 - 748 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didn't get the ringing in the ear when I was pregnant, but got it after the baby was born.

christal928 - 751 days ago thanks ladies....it happened again tonight. This is getting very annoying now. LOL Hopefully you all are right & it is nothing.

thehudsons - 751 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had this constantly for the last 19 weeks of my pregnancy. Dr said it happens. Its funny though, if I turned to the left, it went away. I hope it stops for you.

Heather12 - 751 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) sounds like you have fliud in your ear. It will go away on its own after about 7 days or so. If not talk to your dr.

christal928 - 751 days ago LOL....yea, I don't think that sounds like a good idea. :o) Thank you for the info, the strange thing is that I haven't had any accidents or anything that would trigger the ringing. Of course I've had ringing in my ears before, but nothing like this.....it just seems different. (I think I'm just a worry wort).

canadababy - 751 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's called Tinitus and I don't think it has anything to do with pregnancy. Some people have it for no reason at all (like me) and some have it from an accident (like my DH). It's just annoying, I don't think you can do anything about it, my DH's dr said the only cure is puncturing the eardrum which would make you deaf, but you wouldn't hear the ringing anymore, lol...not really an option :)
