Feeling bloated after my period had ended… About a week ago (12/19-12/26) my period ended… my bf and I did have intercourse, the 2nd day of my period, we didnt use any protection but he did pull out before he came. (Yes, I do know you can get pregnant while on your period.) Now I am wondering why am I now feeling bloated with minor cramps as if I have my period?? Am I PREGNANT?? I know my body very well and I never cramp at the end of my periods or is ever bloated. Anyway, I want other people`s advices before I go and take a test. Not too sure but is it too early to even take a test? What if it`s a `false positive` or it`s very faint?? I really hope someone can give me some guidance or direction with this!! Thanks in advance.

chunkymonkey - 1864 days ago Thanx ladies. I think I will wait to see how if these symptoms go away or not. But then again I hate not knowing what's going on inside of me so I might go ahead and take a test just to be on the safe side. To update, this morning I woke up with back aches but who knows what that might of caused. I'll be sure to update though.

Suprise-we-r-having-a-baby - 1864 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had two doctors, one at the local clinic who confirmed my pregnancy with blood work and my obgyn both tell me there are no such things as false positives, they did say however you could have had a bad batch of pregnancy tests but you will never get a reading of hcg which causes positives with out being pregnant or a measurable level of the hormone in your system

reeseplus5 - 1864 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I beg to differ about false positives Ihad 4 false positives before. Never take a blue line test cause they are knowen for false positives.

Suprise-we-r-having-a-baby - 1864 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) There are no "False Positives" if it says your pregnant your pregnant. But it is highly unlikely you concieved. At this point your hcg levels are entierly too low to pick up on a prgnancy test the best advice to you is to wait until your next period is due to test and even then it might be too soon to test. I was lucky I was one day late and I had three positive test they were faint but they were positive any doctor will tell you there are no false positives

chunkymonkey - 1865 days ago No, we're not trying to conceive or anything but I'm just worried about my body and wondering what's going on down there because it feels really tight and swollen - not sure if that's the right term what I am feeling but it's as if I am experiencing my AF. This is just really odd to me. But I guess the only way to know for sure is to take a test. I hope that solves this little mystery!

MadysonsMommy - 1865 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) There is no way to know for sure unless you take a test but I highly doubt you are pregnant. Yes I know it is possible to get pregnant while on your period but it's HIGHLY unlikely. Most women do not ovulate until at least a week and a half after they end their period. And sperm CAN live up to 5 days but usually don't make it quite that long. The women that get pregnant while on their periods generally have sex the last day, have very long living sperm and super super short cycles. Plus blood kills sperm. I'm not tryint to be a downer if you're wanting to get pregnant but it's just not very likely. If you had sex on the 21st and your period ended on the 26th chances are you haven't even ovulated yet. But I'm no doctor, the only way to know for sure is to take a test....but it's highly unlikely.
