I had a minor car accident this afternoon. Someone went up my rear. It was so minor that there was no damage to my car but hers wasnt so good because she hit my tow bar. I am in no pain (besides the normal), didnt hit the steering wheel or anything. Has anyone else been in accident or worse. How protected is my little man in there :-( Please Help! I dont have another app for 4 weeks!

katieababy - 1830 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) as much as i dont like it, i have been in 2 car accidents, the 1st one was very minor, 2nd a lil more serious as we hit a pole. your baby is very well protected, as long as you arnt bleeding or cramping or anything like that dont worry your self to much, but if you are concerned i would call your doc and explain about the accident and she will see you. my accidents made me start having contractions but they put me on meds to stop them.. i am now currently 31 weeks. if you want to talk more send me a message

wisfarmgirl - 1831 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was rearended at 38 weeks. It wasn't bad either, but my seat belt did get tight across me and I was jolted forward a little. I had to sit in the hospital for 4 hours to be observed to make sure my placent didn't detatch. Everything turned out fine except my sacrum kept going out of place which they think is why my DD was born sunny side up.

rescuewife - 1831 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Your "mini-me" is well protected. If you didn't hit the steering wheel or are feeling unwell (other then the standard pregnancy stuff) I wouldn't worry. After all, sex during pregnancy is quite safe for the baby, and I don't know about you, but at times, the uterus can have a bouncy kinda experience. (hope you at least got a small laugh!) Easier said then done staying calm though isn't it! So, to play it safe, call your doctor, let them know and go from there. Worst case scenario, you end up going into the doctor's office and hear your little one's precious heartbeat going along, and at the very least, provide you with a sense of relief and reassurance. So very glad you're safe and wish you all the best in a continued safe pregnancy! (I was in a car accident at 5 months pregnant with my first, it was near a street named Justus Drive, so we named our son Justus... what roads were nearby? LOL just in case you're struggling to find a name still! haha)

ajoke - 1831 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes, i was in a pretty bad wreck when i was 12 weeks preggo and I called my dr asap, they said with the LO being so tiny, they are well protected and as long as there was no red bleeding or cramping all is well. I was wearing a seatbelt/lapbelt. Then, due to the wonderful midwest winters, i put my car in the ditch at 36 weeks pregnant and already having contractions..with the adrinaline dump my contractions did increase abit but died down to were they all was well there to. If you have any concerns you can always call your OB.

Im getting the cctv checked to track them down as i didnt catch the number plate. Silly woman, luckily babys fine though ive had no bleeding or pain just minor dent to the car.

amber1212 - 1832 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) When I was 24 weeks I fell 5 feet straight down on my butt into a crawl space! It really freaked me out, I called my midwife, went and got checked out, and was fine. If you are worried I would call your doc/midwife

elizabeth ray - 1832 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) if u want u can call ur doc tell them that u were in a car wreck and that its minor but u want to be sure he is ok they should get you in. thats wat i would do but i have been high risk since 12 weeks and im now 31w2d

babybrookes - 1832 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) if i were you i would go to the hospital to get checked over anyway your little man is well protected though in all the fluid and cushy uterus but you dont know what damage you could have caused to yourself either plus there are some cases of delayed reactions to accidents, just for peace of mind go get checked at the hospital tell them your pregnant and you'll get seen straight away they will want to monitor the baby and have a look at him on an ultrasound i feel when i was 23 weeks and fell right on my front luckily my baby was perfect and i wasnt hurt or anything but it was such a massive weight off my shoulders too know that my little boy was perfectly fine, a check up is worth knowing that your little boy is perfectly fine, you should get checked after a car accident anyway no matter how minor it is take care hun and take care extra care of your self now xxxxxxx
