rickettsrules - 1164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Started having contractions 24 hours after my waters broke. Had my daughter 48 hours after water broke :-)

kristeen - 1164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) water broke at 8:15 and i was holding my baby at 11:26!

babyblessings - 1164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With my first baby my water broke at 7:15 am (as soon as i stood up to get out of bed) and my DD was born vaginally at 10pm that same night after 2 long hours of pushing. So about 15 hours of labor.

Debra - 1164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My waters never broke with either pregnancy. Both times I got to 10 cm and my midwife broke my water. She had to hook in twice (I have very strong membranes!) to get the bag to release. With my first labour, meconium came pouring out. My son was breech so within about 45 min I gave birth via c/s. With my 2nd, I had a VBAC. My midwife broke my water when I was at 9.5 cm and I delivered about 3 hours later.

TINYTAURUS - 1164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my water broke at 4:30 am baby was here by 6:14 am! u never know how fast things can happen!

MoNtRiCe8488 - 1164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) about 17-20 hours later by c-Section

Agape - 1164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was in labour and my waters had to be broken in hospital. Than i ended having an emergency c-section cos baby could not pass!! It was about 4 hrs after they broke the water.

katiea - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) with my 1st 2 they were broken during labor and both 1st and 2nd were born an hour after waters were broken. with my 3rd i didnt go into labor until 11 hrs after the waters broke..he was born 15 hours after waters broke and with my 4th the waters broke at 32+5wks and he was born 2 days later via emergency csec for fetal distress (waters were broken 2 days and did not go into labor)

babybrookes - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) well my waters had to be broken in hospital when i was in labour anyway and with my second they broke before then i went to hospital but i needed an emergency c section so i had him 20 mins after, when your waters break it speeds up the labour pretty fast although i have heard of some women whos waters break and they dont give birth till a few days after sort of depends really but usualy it does speed things up good luck hun xxxxxxxxx

azeeza - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) heya my waters broke at 1am and i gave birth at 10am the next morning.

annies1stbaby - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 12.5 hours. i didn't get strong contractions until a hour before i gave birth

Mummyree - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 33hrs for me. My water broke and I didn't get any contractions that I could feel until 18hrs later, they were only mild. The strong contractions started 24hrs after my water broke, then gave birth 9 hrs after that :-)

girl from ab - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 10 1/2 hours at 36+3 days. My water breaking was my first indication of labor, no contractions or anything prior but as soon as my water broke I had strong contractions 3-5 minutes apart

Malik Mommy - 1165 days ago Ok thank you ladies!!! I didn't know if I would make it to the doctor before I gave birth or not, if it were to happen. Lol I'm almost 36 weeks and the hospital is 15-20min away.

newmamaof3 - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My 1st, 7 hours (38 weeks), my 2nd, 1 hour (37 weeks), and I had a planned c-section for my 3rd.

IsabellesMummy ♥ - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Exactly 12 hours for me. Waters broke first then contraction started a couple of hours after. I was already 2cm dilated and 90% effaced one week before that.

ChaMomma - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 14 hrs for me too and I had a doc visit earlier that morning- only 1.5 cm dialated ( I was 40 wks and 2 days) and my doctor said it would probably be another week. At around 11 pm that night it broke and 12 hours later I had to be induced because within that time I only progressed to 3 cm. Still believe it was because the baby was posterior (sunny side up).

dominique23 - 1165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 14 hrs i wasnt in labor i was 37 weeks dilated to 5cm for almost 2 weeks, had to be induced after it broke never progressed after 4hrs on my own.
