At my last 2 appts. I`ve been measuring 4, and now 5 weeks ahead of what I actually am. I am supposed to be 31 weeks tomorrow but meaasuring more like 35.5 weeks. I`m going to have an ultrasound in 2 weeks but I`m getting more and more concerned. Anyone have any experience with this? Due date changed? I know I`m 100% sure on my conception date and no gestational diabetes. This is my 3rd baby. My first 2 were girls and they were small/average. (6 lbs. 12 oz & 7 lbs 9 oz). Thanks for your input!

Your uterus stretches more quickly and bigger with each pregnancy and your last was over 7.5 lbs. That is NOT small actually. This baby might end up being a bit bigger but in order to actually know the size of the BABY and not just your uterus, they'd have to do an ultrasound and measure the head and bones and belly and stuff. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

kdclark - 1784 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm 35W3D now, at my 34W appt I was measuring 41W. They are doing an ultrasound at my 36W appt and if he is measuring as big as my belly shows, they are going to schedule me for induction or c-section.

AlishaMommyof2 - 1784 days ago Wow, that seems crazy you couldn't get induced (laura) before your babies got that big!!

lauraoct (laura) - 1785 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I measured 3-4weeks bigger both times and had 11lb 6oz baby 2 weeks over. And a 10lb 7 1/2oz baby 2days over. My friend measured big and had a 6lb baby. Think it can just be the way you carry. And u/s can be upto 10% wrong on babies weight.

m0mmy0f4 - 1785 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think that alot of women have this happen. I was almost a month ahead with my last baby and she was my smallest. I think it has to due with the fact your body knows what to do and is making room for baby. I would not change your due date, as it most likly will not be right. Also even with an ultrasound this late they can only guess how big baby will be. Good luck to you.

Babyjellybean - 1785 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes I measured ahead the whole time they never changed my due date even though I measured 4 weeks ahead it was just a big baby!

noahsmomma11 - 1785 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) During my pregnancy I always measured 3-4 weeks ahead but they never changed my due date, My baby came 3 days early and was 9lbs 10oz. I was a 6lb baby and my husband was 7lbs so I don't know where a big baby came from lol, also no gestational diabetes for me either
