alijo - 1299 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) That's how it felt when I went into labor with my son! Good luck :)

babybrookes - 1299 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes it does sound like it to me i had unbelievable cramping with my first i was 42 weeks and all that day i was having back pain and cramping like crazy i thought it was just braxton hicks until i felt my uterus push down and then i thought right this is real labour i went to the hospital and i was 3cm dilated it can start off very slow and pretty uncomfy with period like cramps then they just start off the real contractions and alot of pressure down below like someones sqeezing a bowling ball out of you lol thats how i felt but you are 1cm and 75% effaced so labour was definatly on the cards to start off soon but congratulations you are starting labour dont bother timing them just yet they can be a bit erratic, when you feel back pain and they start to become very uncomfy start timing them then when they get to about 6-5 mins apart and it takes your breath away make your way down good luck hun and i wish you all the luck in the world

peytonsmummy - 1299 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had period cramps until I was 6 cm dialated and then when they checked me the real ones started. Yay, good luck!

rbrencur - 1299 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My labour I only contracted at the bottom of my uterus so they felt like period cramps till my waters broke and they induced me. I would time the ones your having! Good luck! Baby dust for a quick labour!

k.harton@hotmail.com - 1300 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My labor started with menstrual like cramps that lated about 5 hours, started having a bit of contractions and broke my water right away. She was born 2 hours after that! Good luck!! and CONGRATS!!

mommyinmd - 1300 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) That is how mine started at 40 wks 3 days, too.

RobinG - 1300 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would say so :) ((hugs)) Coming soon!! :)

atlnewumi - 1300 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes this is generally. With my last pregnancy I had constant cramping all day for a full day before i was induced. Just monitor it and I wouldn't be surprised if you see a baby very very soon. :) Especially if you are 40 weeks. You might just go into labor in the next 10 minutes LOLOL :) Best wishes!
