semtbm@yahoo.com - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was told at 12 weeks that I was having a girl, and it was confirmed (still a girl) at 18 weeks.

rachie83 - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Know 2 girls who had 3d ultrasounds that early and when they did the 18 to 20 week ultrasound they found out the 3D ultrasound was wrong

KellyG1 - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got an accurate reading at 14 weeks, the person doing the ultrasound said she wouldn't tell me unless she was sure.It was confirmed again that I was having a boy at my 20 week scan.

luv2bmom (pink) - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) too early to be accurate.... between 16-22 weeks the later the more accurate it is!

meganh - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got an accurate reading at 14 weeks.

ladykilla421 - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Long story short; no! At 13 weeks male and female fetal anatomy are the same.

Bri - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) At our imaging place they won't tell you even if they can guess. Techs are known to be wrong and the earlier it is the more likely they are wrong. Especially since early on girls and boys look a lot alike (like boys). The penis splits apart to become a vagina around that same time. There is a theory about angles that it's pointing but that's really hard. For that reason our techs just don't say anything until the 20 week u/s. You can always ask but they probably won't or can't see.

BabyMaker39 - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) lovemysweetpie, They actually NEVER guarantee gender with ultrasound method.

Achance2dream - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was told boy at 12 weeks then at 15 weeks and then at my 18-19 weeks ultrasound so for me I was told correctly at 12 weeks. They dont like to tell you until 18-20+ weeks though because babies could still be confused for one or the other sex...

BabyMaker39 - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My tech told me as 11W6D what she thought it was. She gave me a 75% likelihood.

lovemysweetpie - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) sometimes....depends on the position of the baby....they won't guarantee gender until the 20 week anatomy scan. really the only 100% is an amniocentesis but you really don't wanna do that unless its necessary as it has risks associated with it. hope this helps!

mamalov.blue. - 952 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got my babies sex at 13 weeks 6 days and it was confirmed at three ultrasounds already
