So I`m just curious, for those of you who have been pregnant with both boys and girls were your cravings and aversions different for each gender? I`ve craved sourdough with all of my three pregnancies (3 boys). Day before yesterday without giving it a second thought I bought a loaf of sourdough. Didn`t even realize I was really craving it till now. I`m getting a feeling it`s going to be another boy!!

mahihkan - 444 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) When I was pregnant with my daughter I craved Big macs, pizza, onions, pickles and olives. With my son it was fruit chinese food and cinnzeo buns. This time it has been chicken, cookies, dill pickle chips (which insidentally taste like dirt to me this pregnancy so I dont eat them even though I crave them), pickles, olives and fruit smoothies. My first pregnancy which was a boy I craved pickles, olives and spagetti.

Unfortunatly Ive craved the same things with all 3 of my previous pregnancies and also this one..I sure wish it meant something! BUT...like the rest of us, if we want to know we get an u/s or amnio to find out. Ugh...Ive never been able to wait, found out with all four via u/s! Hope u get ur girl!

If you still would like to know what I craved with my kids, I will gladly tell you. With my son I craved taqueria, mcdonalds, and baskin robbins. With my daughter I craved cookies, candy, and chinese food.

jenica - 445 days ago Thanks for your responses everyone. I'm really hoping for a girl and was hoping to hear that boy and girl pregnancies might have the same cravings. So thank you all for the reassurance that there's still a chance of having a girl ha ha ha! And Brittany - I am talking about cravings NOT PICA. You know, the type of cravings that just sound good, not mineral deficiencies. I hate when people act like they know everything :)

1st-time-Toya - 445 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) when i was pregnant with my girl i craved mostly savory foods like spaghetti with meat sauce, vegetable pizza, cabbage, quarter pounders, potato chips and i didnt want to be near any sweets. this time i am preggo with a boy and i am craving all sweets: brownies, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, chocolate milk and slurpess LOL

clar-issa - 445 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my belly shape is different. With my girl I was rounder all over my belly which made me appear huge. With this boy, he is concentrated just in my front and makes me look smaller even though I am 10 lbs heavier with this boy.

mommynicole81 - 445 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Well not to be rude but the comments below are just wrong I have craved PICKLES this whole pregnancy and guess what my body is not missing anything had test and everything my body is perfectly balanced . With my first son it was green beans every day next the twin girls was salt n vinager chips my last son craved nothing and this boy i crave pickles . Every pregnancy i have had i was tested my body was not missing anything , not off balance , and yes cravings have nothing to do with the sex .

angie2008 - 445 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With my daughter I craved Pizza, not even good pizza but the frozen boxed kind. WIth my son I craved anything sweet: donuts, cake, cookies, anything with sugar.

ttc6thbaby - 445 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 5 kids later and i can honestly say cravings mean nothing! Each and every pregnancy was a different craving, none matching sexes! sorry

brittany l - 445 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I dont want to be rude, but I hate when people try to go by cravings. A craving is just your body telling you that you are lacking something that food has.

carriebaby888 - 445 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I don't think that means anything. (unless you want a boy ;)) hehe...I am on my second pregnancy, and I noticed that I crave the SAME things when I am pregnant, as I do when I am sick! (not a cold, like feverish and flu)...when I get reeeeeeeeally sick I crave things like grape juice and melon, I crave the same stuff when I'm pregnant...so that leads me to believe that it doesn't matter the sex, it's just when your body is outta whack (didn't know how else to say that lol) you will crave certain things!
