baby boys more likely to be overdue?

Has anybody heard this? What was your experience? My due date is tomorrow and I just feel like my baby boy is not coming out anytime soon.

1st-time-Toya - 324 days ago thanks ladies for all the responses! @angie n pooh...i feel pretty good, just ready to hold my baby boy, he still isnt here yet tom I will be 5 days overdue. I have blessed him with oil (my belly) and prayed that he will come within 24 hours and now i put it all in God's hands :-)

nikkipearl - 324 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Both my boys were overdue, and I'm assuming this one will go overdue as well. Either I take longer to bake babies or my body just doesn't go into labour on my own and need to be Induced.

My two boys were both early (1st by 4 days, 2nd by 13), but I've had friends who had all of their kids late, regardless of gender. I think it does just depend on your body. My 1st two babies, which were girls, were born a week overdue, on theirown and the next two girls my water broke at 38 & 39 weeks, the last girl stayed in until the c/s at 39 weeks,lol. I think everybody, every pregnancy and every baby is differet no matter what the gender is:-)

weber3 - 329 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have wondered the same thing. My first boy was 1 week early, my daughter 2 weeks early, and second boy they said I would likely go early and he came the day before his due date. I know boys are more laid back so I wondered if this happens in labour too?

My friend just had a little boy and was three days over due... it all on your body and the readiness of the baby n my opinion

Induced with all three.. My 1st was 4 days over due and my second I went in a week early. Then luckily I went into labor a week early this time

mommyharts - 329 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I just had my son 3 weeks ago & I was induced the night before my due date & he was born on his due date. If they didn't induce me I think I would have went past, since I was only 2cm the day before I had him. With my 1st baby-a girl I was induced 6 days early because of high blood pressure & with my 2nd-a girl she came on her own 5 days early. My mom had 5 kids. I'm the oldest, then she had 3 boys & my sister was last..me & my sister were both 2 days late & all her boys were early. So I don't think the sex really matters. My son also was breech until 38 weeks when I had a version done to flip him, I really don't think he wanted to come out & would have went past my due date if they let me..lol. 3loveofmylife - 329 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes i have heard of that, i've heard we carry boys for 10 month and my son was 15 days overdue and i finely had him after 15 days and he was 9lb 2oz i was ready to have him lol
