Is it possible to go into labour without baby engaging first?

Yes :) with all 3 of mine I was never engaged until I went into labour

My second son wasn't fully dropped when labor started. He didn't really engage until well into the process.

Yes it is very common, more so for second, third, atc. time mommies more so than first time mommies, but even than, it is still possible...

Yes! My baby was still very high when I went into active labor. She didn't start to engage until I was 8cm. Whrn I started pushing, she was still very high. I had to push her down. I still only pushed for 50 minutes. She was my first child, also.

i believe so but a baby can pretty much engage and then come out again which could cause you to go into labour
