Has anyone else had a cyst on an ovarie whilst being pregnant?

I`m curious As to what the ` plan ` was for the cyst and if it had any affects on the pregnancy itself, as I have a cyst the size of a tennis ball on my left ovarie and I`m measuring 7 weeks pregnant. I need some reassurance :)

nat51905@hotmail.com - 317 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had a large cyst on my ovary that appeared during pregnancy and ballooned up to 16cm which was the size of a cantalope so they removed it just after the placenta took over. I also lost my ovary and tube as it destroyed them. My pregnancy went on uneventful and I had a perfect baby boy. Even with one tube and advanced maternal age (37) I am 30 weeks pregnant with a baby girl and we only had one time that we didn't use protection so it didn't affect my fertility at all lol.

Katmoma - 319 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) they can saetly monitor you to see if it gets smaller or also safetly remove the cyst while pregnant.. your baby is in the uterus so can be removed safetly if affecting you or the growing baby to which at some point posibly might as bubs will also satrt putting presure on it

SLK - 319 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have a cyst on my left ovary that measured 5cm, my OB said there was a very small risk of bleeding or twisting but that it was rare. It hasn't caused me too many problems at all and I'm now 32 weeks. Every now and then my baby kicks it and it hurts a little but that's about it. Also, keep in mind that once the placenta starts to kick in and take over the cyst will more often than not reduce in size. Mine shrink a little, back down to 4cms at the beginning of the second tri and I'm willing to bet it has shrunk even more.
